Andhra Pradesh Government pending the recruitment in the AYUSH Department for many years. The Government of AP Govt agreed for Recruitment in AYUSH of Medical Officers, Lecturer, Compounders, ANM, Lab Tech, Staff Nurse, Librarian and Scientific Officer.
The Details of Vacancies Category wise:
- Medical Officer: Ayurveda-46 vacancies - Zone Level
- Unani: 33 vacancies - Zone Level.
- Lecturers: Unani - 06 vacancies - Zone Level.
- Compounders: Ayurveda -138 vacancies - District Level.
- Homeopathy - 52 vacancies - District Level.
- Unani- 96 vacancies - District Level.
- ANM/ Metarnary : 63 vacancies - District Level.
- Lab technician : 06 vacancies - District Level.
- Staff Nurse: 08 vacancies - Zone Level.
- Librarian Grade-2: 02 vacancies - Zone Level.
- Scientific Officer: 01 vacancies - State Level.
Recruitment will complete with in 2 months from the notification date. Reservations as per Government's Norms.

Latest News on 21st Sept 2012: Latest News from the Assembly (AP) the concern Honorable Minister Mr.K.Murali announced today (21st Sept, 2012) confirm the Recruitment in Ayush Dept, 673 posts, out of these 211 Vacancies belong to Medical Officer and other belong to other Categories.
Reservations for 673 Vacancies:
SC(Schedule Caste)- 83 Vacancies.
ST (Schedule Tribes)- 43 Posts.
BC (Backward Class)- 105 Positions.
Confirm the recruitment notification very soon.

Govt. announced regarding vacant posts for the past 3 years.In Homoeopathic colleges majority of teaching faculty is lacking and so students are not able to get required medical knowledge to apply practically.so, please pursue in to the matter at earliest.Thanking you.
