Suprabhata Seva is a type of Seva that takes place as from 3 A.M and usually lasts for half an hour. Devotees who want to take place in Suphrabata Seva have to visit Vaikuntam Q Complex that is just opposite Vijaya Bank. Any pilgrim who is taking part in Suprabhatam Seva will have to reach the location at least one hour before the Seva starts. This action is very important since it ensures that every devotee has settled down before finally starting Suprabhata Seva.
Any devotee who wants to participate in Suprabhata Seva, will have to purchase a ticket online or from the temple. Devotees who want online tickets must make use of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Website that operates 24 hours a day unless it is under maintenance. Unfortunately, you must create an account on this site before getting any service that you need. After creating an account, you can then book your Suprabhata Seva ticket by clicking on the “Seva” button. Each ticket is specifically set aside for one devotee and you will have to make the bookings at least one month before Suprabhatam Seva takes place. The good news is that children under 12 years do not need a Seva ticket in order to participate in Suprabhata Seva since it is free of charge.
During Suprabhata Seva, tickets holders will have to carry their tickets and ID proof to avail Darshan. You will also have to follow the dress code if you are to take part in Suprabhata Seva. Men must put on a White Pancha, Dhoti/ Kurta and Pyjama while women usually put on Saree with blouse, Punjabi dress with Dupatta, Chudidhar with Dupatta or Half Saree. At the gate, there will be a team of people who will have a look at your Suprabhata Seva ticket before allowing you access. Devotees who arrive earlier are at a great advantage since they can sit at the front.
Sri Venkanteswara Swamy Suprabhatam Seva consists of four phases with a total of 70 Slokas. These phases include:
- Suphrabhatham i.e. waking up the Lord from sleep. During this phase, devotees will have to recite 29 Slokas.

- Prapatti i.e. Surrender to the Lord. This phase usually consists pf 16 stanzas.
- Mangalasnana, a prayer of the Lord’s glory and consists of 14 stanzas.
Devotees usually sing Suprabhatham before the Bangaru Vakili after which they will shift the Bhoga Srinivasa Murthy to Garbha Griha. Once this is done, they will offer Navanitha Harathi to the Lord before finally offering a mixture of Cow’s milk, sugar and butter. It is important to take part in Suphrabata Seva at least once in a while if you want to create a long lasting experience. All you have to do is book your ticket online at Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Website. You should remember to make prior booking since it is not possible to book Suphrabata Seva tickets on the D-Day.
