The AP CPE issued recruitment notification for Excise Constables in their dept and will conduct a written Exam for those who qualify in the first 2 stages(Preliminary).Expect nearly 10 lac (more or less) Candidates are going to Apply for the CE post. The competition for the job may be heavy but you need a single job thats enough to inspire you to reach your goal of Job. The whole Selection process will complete in 3 stages of Selection. First Stage- Preliminary Qualifying Test, Second Stage-Physical Efficiency Test and Third Stage-Written Test for 100 Marks. First 2 Stages qualify Candidate will eligible for the Written Exam. The Excise Constable Exam Syllabus and Question Paper Format is as read as below.
The Excise Constable Written Exam will be for 100 Marks in various Category sections, they are as follow for Syllabus:
The Question Paper would be in 10th Class level with less Questions but Range of Syllabus will be at 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th Class level(Text Books). So Candidates need to study from 6th to 10th Class Text Books for the reference. Category wise.
Numerical Ability: 25 Marks. Subjects are Number System, Simplification, Percentages, Profit and Loss, Time-work, Interest-Cumulative Interest, Average, Partition, etc..
Reasoning Ability: 25 marks. Mental thinking, Warble reasoning, Non Warble reasoning, Coding, Decoding, Analogy, Letter Series, Direction, Puzzle Test, Blood Relation, Number ranking, etc..
Andhra Pradesh History: Although it is AP History candidates must study the Indian History also. The Times of Shatavahana, Vizayanagara, Kakitiya, Kutubshahi, etc..Kings Rules and administration.
Geography: World and Indian Geography, Countries Names and Capitals, State Capitals, Crops, Substitute Names, famous monuments. Irrigation, etc..
Civics(Polity): Indian Constitution, Amendments, President, Vice President, about Parliament, etc..
Current Affairs: National, International incidents, Games and Sports, etc…
General Sciences: 20 Marks. This is the key section, Candidate need to study the 8th, 9th and 10th Class Science Text Books. Physics and Chemistry in Science.
So finally for 100 Marks Written Exam includes 50 Marks for Part-1 and 50 Marks for Part-2.
Part-1: General Aptitude( Numerical ability-25, Reasoning ability-25).
Part-2: 50 Marks, this is GK (Current Affairs, AP History, Civics, etc..)
