NEET 2013 made compulsory for the Andhra Pradesh Inter Bi.P.C. Students, NEET Syllabus Subject wise of Physics, Botany, Zoology of 1st,2nd years Intermediate now.
NEET Syllabus and Entrance Exam Dates and are announced by the CBSE for 2013 NEET, and made compulsory for Andhra Pradesh students also need to go with NEET. So lot of Students are in confusion of NEET 2013 Syllabus how much it is larger than Board of Inter Syllabus and how much they need to study extra Syllabus which they need to cover with CBSE syllabus(NEET). The syllabus of Botany 1st Year and 2nd Year, Botany 2nd Year and Zoology 1st year, 2nd Year and Physics Subjects. The AP Students need to take more care to cover this syllabus to get a good Rank at National Level. The subject wise Syllabus of NEET Syllabus not covered in the AP Board of Intermediate Syllabus/Text Books.
1. PHYSICS: Circular Motion (Vehicle on level circular road, Vehicle on Banked road).
Collisions in 2 dimensions; Kepler’s Laws of Planetary Motion; Green House Effect; Kinetic Theory; Damped Oscillations; Vande Graaff Generator; Carbon Resistors, Colour Code for Carbon resistors;Toroidal Solenoids, Cyclotron; Permanent Magnets; Power in AC Circuits, Watt less current; AC Generator; Electro Magnetic Waves:- Need for displacement current; Electromagnetic waves and their characteristics (qualitative ideas only). Transverse nature of electromagnetic waves;
Electromagnetic Spectrum (Radio waves, Microwaves, Infrared, Visible, Ultraviolet, X-rays, Gamma rays) including elementary facts about their uses.
Reflection of light, spherical mirrors, mirror formula, refraction at spherical surfaces, lenses, scattering of light, human eye, correction of eye defects; Resolving power of microscopes and telescopes; Alpha particle scattering experiment, Rutherford’s model of atom, energy levels, hydrogen spectra; I-V characteristics of LED; Transistor of Oscillator; Transistor as a switch.
2. BOTANY 1st year:
UNIT-I: What is Living?; Biodiversity; Need for Classification; Three domains of life; Taxonomy and systematic; Concept of species; Tools for study of Taxonomy-Museums, Zoos, Herbaria, Botanical Gardens.
Five Kingdom Classification; Salient features and Classification of Monera; Protista and Fungi into major groups; Lichens.
Salient features and classification of plants into major groups-Algae, Bryophytes, Pteridophytes, Gymnosperms and Angiosperms(three to five salient and deistinguishing features and at least 2 examples of each category).
UNIT-II: NIL.
UNIT-III:Micro bodies; Cytoskeleton, Cilia, Flagella, centrioles (ultra structure and function); Chemical constituents of living cells; Biomolecules- structure and function of proteins, carbohydrates, lipids.
UNIT-IV: Transport of food, Phleom transport, Mass flow hypothesis, Diffusion of gases brief mention.
Mineral toxicity.
Amphibolic pathways of respiration.
Phases of plant growth and plant growth rate; Conditions of growth; Differentiation, dedifferentiation and re differentiation, Sequence of developmental process in a plant cell, Seed dormancy.
UNIT-V: NIL.
BOTANY 2ND year SYLLABUS:
UNIT-I: Asexual reproduction; Modes-Binary fission, sporulation, budding, gemmule, fragmentation.
Development of endosperm and embryo, Development of seed and formation of fruit; Special modes-apomixes, pathenocarpy, polyembryony; Significance of seed and fruit formation.
UNIT-II: NIL.
UNIT-III: Biofortification.
UNIT-IV: Biosafety issues- Biopiracy and patents.
UNIT-V: Nutrient cycling (Carbon and phosphorous); Ecological succession; Ecological services- carbon fixation, pollination, oxygen release.
ZOOLOGY 1st YEAR SYLLABUS:
UNIT-I: NIL.
UNIT-II: Cockroach-circulatory and reproductive system.
UNIT-III: NIL.
UNIT-IV: NIL.
UNIT-V: Human physiology; Peristalsis, Nutritional and digestive disorders- PEM, indigestion, constipation, vomiting, jaundice, diarrhea.
Disorders related to respiration- Asthma, Emphysema, occupational respiratory disorders.
Regulation of Cardiac activity; Disorders of circulatory system- Hypertension, coronary artery disease, Angina pectoris, Heart failure.
Role of other organs in excretion; Disorders; Uremia, Renal failure, Renal calculi, Nephritis, Dialysis and artificial kidney.
Disorders of muscular and skeletal system- Myasthenia gravies, Tetany, Muscular dystrophy, Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Gout.
Reflex action; Sense organs; Elementary structure and function of eye and ear.
ZOOLOGY 2nd YEAR SYLLABUS:
UNIT-I: Human reproduction:
UNIT-II: Thalassemia; Down’s syndrome.
Evidence for biological evolution (from paleontology, comparative anatomy, embryology and molecular evidence); Adaptive radiation; Human evolution.
UNIT-III: Human diseases- Ascaris, Typhoid, Pneumonia, common worm, Adolescence, alcohol and drug abuse. Apiculture and Animal Husbandry.
UNIT-IV: NIL.
UNIT-V: Environmental issues; Air pollution and its control; Water pollution and its control; Agrochemicals and their effects; Solid waster management; Radioactive waste management; Green house effect and global warming; Ozone depletion; Deforestation; Any three case studies s success stories addressing environmental issues.
This is the NEET Syllabus not in the Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Syllabus Text Books, not in the AP Text books but also in the many States in South India and other Eastern, Western Central Northern parts of the Country. All the Bi.P.C. Inter/12th/ 10+2 Standard students need to cover study these including our regular syllabus. So Students start from now onwards in preparation to get good Rank in NEET-2013, get a good Admission in best Medical Colleges in the Country/State.
